From being in Hiatus

Hello all!  I hope you are still with me!

I have been at an all time low with blogging, but hope to change that soon!  To give you an example, I just blogged about having a new blog whereas before, I have already blogged that I have a new blog!  :-( 

I haven't also updated my writing collection as much because of this, which is really stinking!

Over and Out!

Well, I am still not blogging that much, but---one thing lead to another to another to another to yet another until I am finally at Bridgewater State College near both Boston and Cape Cod, MA! Life is going great!

I was in Field School in the summer and this photo was my first day in the field! Aside from my back breaking and me becoming very dirty every day, I made some great friends, and the event was truly epic in making me live independantly!

So............. go to Times of Maya for some old school fun and keep it real!

Howdy y'all! After a 6 month hibernation from writing, I am back...but confused on how Blogger could be so hard to use! After copying and pasting revisions of my work 3 times (instead of the process being done 2 times), I am sad to say that the order of my works has been changed!

I frankly don't know if my walking in the woods made me artistically inclined to take this picture, or if it was that cool and refreshing breeze that wanted to topple me over.... but here we have a work influenced by Impressionism!

I am doing well with creating short stories, I have just created another one--"The Smiling Box"! It isn't long at all, which would then probably make it a "short short", but this came out of a prompt and submitting to a writer's newsletter! I am creating another short story, with the help of a Fairy or two! I have already foreshadowed the jist of the story through "Fairy Dust" (if you don't know what I mean, you haven't been looking hard enough on "Times of Maya"--if you still don't know what I mean, what can I say and do but will fairy dust to be sprinkled upon you while you sleep!!)

So, keep those eyes out, it is coming nearest you!

Pondering to Ponder

Hello y'all, Maya here. I have been thinking to have a pseudonym, now that I am getting serious in writing. I want this name to be Indian looking--since that's what I am!

My list of names so far: Minali, Mukta, Kalyani.

What do you think, you can even go to www.behindthename.com and suggest an Indian name from there for me, you would be so sweet!

I have completed my short story, in only 5 days! It has come to be 12 pages double spaced and is called "Fighting to Fly". It is right at your own little typing fingertips!
